The 'changeover day' at Catamouse Cottage is always Friday, with a leisurely check-out time of 12 noon. This gives us time to deep clean the cottage, service the hot tub, tend to the garden (and carry out any other maintenance tasks without disturbing you ), ready for the arrival of our next guests at 4:30pm.
This means that Catamouse Cottage is yours for the whole week (or two! ). Whether you want to stay for four nights, or all seven, the tariff is exactly the same.
Our tariffs are fully inclusive. . . there are no hidden charges, VAT or agency commissions to pay. That's why it's so much cheaper to book directly with us!

We have travelled all over the UK and stayed in cottages far and wide but have never found one that is as instantly likeable as Catamouse. Superbly equipped, spacious and cosy at the same time, it is clearly a very well looked after cottage. With easy access to local amenities and beaches, walks, monuments etc., it is well placed to base yourself and explore this part of Wales.
We have had a great week here doing (almost ) nothing. Thanks to Helen & Julian for keeping the cottage so beautifully.

Wow what a wonderful cottage. I think I can honestly say that this is one of the best we have stayed in. The peace and quiet is just what we needed. Our second visit to this delightful cottage. Everything is just as we remembered it from last time. Enjoyed the hot tub every evening after a day of walking. Our favourite coastal walk is from Solva to St David’s taking in the spectacular views.

Wow, what a beautiful cottage Catamouse is. The finish and furnishings are to such a high standard. The kids loved finding all the little wooden mice. The welcome pack was one of the best we’ve ever had - delicious and generous.

Seven twitchy noses
Seven tails so bright,
They filled our days with wonder
And our hearts with pure delight.
From beams and clocks to bedroom nooks
Behind the kitchen door,
Each tiny mouse we happened on
Made us smile a little more.
The cottage took our breath away
It oozes charm in every room,
The weather and Welsh scenery
Left not a trace of gloom.
Callie searched with eager eyes
Brother Arlo joined the quest,
Each little find brought happy cheers
A holiday at it’s best.
Then tucked away, so snugly hid
Inside the cupboard there,
A tiny mouse was waiting still
As if he’d known we’d care.
"Meezey!" Callie proudly cried
And so his name was born,
A little friend we’ll treasure still
Long after we are gone.
Though leaving here is bittersweet
Our time has flown so fast,
The laughter, love and little mice,
Have made such memories last.
So thank you for this special place
Kindness, peace and cheer,
We’ll think of Catamouse cottage
For the rest of all our years.
And when dear Meezey sits at home
Upon his shelf with pride,
He’ll always bring us back to Wales
This cottage by his side.
Until we come again one day
And new adventures roam,
We will hold this place within our hearts
And Meezey in our home.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your incredible home, when we walked in we were blown away. Your attention to detail, the décor, the characters dotted around the home. It has been absolutely brilliant and we have loved every day. We hope to be back in the future.
