The Elms is a single storey property (see the notes on ACCESSIBILITY) located in Herbrandston, a small quiet village within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and has belonged to our family since 2002.
In 2018 we made The Elms available as a luxurious self-catering holiday let, adding a hot tub to the garden and converting the garage into a games room in order to create a spacious and comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and countryside.

Being located in the village of Herbranston, close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, makes The Elms popular with families wanting to explore the nature trails of West Wales.

Fully equipped kitchen: Although there are umpteen restaurants and gastro pubs nearby, we know lots of guests prefer to self-cater. . . at least some of the time! No problem, The Elms' spacious, open plan kitchen and dining area is perfect for sociable dining, with electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher, along with enough quality pots, pans and utensils to keep every budding chef happy. You'll also find a Welcome basket of essentials (plus some tasty treats ), and there's milk already in the fridge!
The Elms' spacious family lounge Large windows make the lounge a light and bright space. Tastefully decorated and furnished with deep leather sofas. A real flame gas fire, whilst it adds to the cosiness of a film night around the tv, is not a necessity as the whole property is centrally heated, making it toasty warm. . . even in winter!
Unlike most Agency properties, we don't add any extra 'heating' charge for gas.

Each of the three bedrooms has a flat screen TV for lazy morning and cosy evening viewing. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space provides ample storage. . . and all of the high quality, comfy, beds are made up with crisp, white, bedding.
The 'Master' bedroom can be a king size double, or twin, you decide! Overlooking the front garden and its fragrant fruit trees, the room has a 'Zip & Link' divan bed, offering the choice of being configured as a king size, or made up into a pair of singles. Just let us know your preference and we will do the rest, ready for your arrival!

The second bedroom. This generous double overlooks the beautifully manicured rear garden, with a view of the summer house and pretty flower borders. A particularly relaxing space when illuminated by the hot tub fairy lights!
The third bedroom is a quiet, cosy, double that also faces the fruit trees in the front garden. Remember; if you have an infant, we'll be happy to provide a travel cot and highchair on request, at no extra charge!

Families & the disabledNo more holiday cottage rental Agency commissions or charges! The Elms, on the West Wales coast, is available to book directly from the owners, which represents a significant saving over most other vacation properties in Pembrokeshire. Both young families and those with limited mobility can enjoy this luxury holiday home with no stairs, full wheelchair access, hot tub and mature gardens with a separate summer house.
Bright and modern family bathroom: After a day out exploring, take a soak in the large bath or, if you prefer, refresh yourself in the double size shower enclosure. It also has a steam resistant, back-lit, mirror with shaving point. . . and a large towel rail to dry and warm the fluffy towels or robes that we provide. A second WC is conveniently situated off the hall.
Raining? No problem. . . have fun in the fully equipped games room! Enjoy the pool table, table tennis and darts or, when the competition becomes too intense, chill out in the seating area which opens into the oak gazebo and hot tub.

Relax in your own private hot tub! Probably the most popular outside attraction of The Elms, the hot tub comfortable accommodates six people and is just magical in the evenings, lit by its own twinkling LED stars. Completely private and not overlooked, your hot tub is always clean, always hot. . . always inviting!
The summer house in our mature garden provides a perfect retreat, ideal for reading, or just chilling and enjoying the outdoor space. A charcoal BBQ and tools are provided, guests are asked to provide their own charcoal.
The large fishpond, with its trickling waterfall, gentle lit once the sun falls asleep, has been made child safe. . . so no need to worry about the kids playing in the garden whilst the grown-ups relax.
