A warmest of Pembrokeshire welcomes from Helen and Julian George to, and our two family-owned holiday homes in South Pembrokeshire, both of which are furnished, fitted and finished to the very highest standards, with private enclosed gardens. . .  and hot tubs!

Take a photo tour of the historic, and sympathetically renovated, Catamouse Cottage for four guests in sleepy Robeston West, or a walk-through of The Elms, a slightly larger property with a games room and comfortable accommodation for up to six guests, in the quiet Pembrokeshire village of Herbrandston.

The Elms was built in the 70's and comprises of three bedrooms;  two generous doubles, and the third with the option of either a king size, or twin beds (plus an infant's cot on request).  Catamouse Cottage on the other hand, with its two identical king-sized bedrooms, dates from the early 19th century and was completely refurbished in 2021.

Either property is an ideal base for families, wanting to experience our wonderful county of Pembrokeshire. . .  the most popular holiday destination anywhere in the UK!

Eat in, eat out, or grab a takeaway!  The kitchens at both Catamouse Cottage and The Elms are superbly equipped, with everything a home chef could need, but you are on holiday. . .  so why not let someone else take the strain?  To help you, we've put together a contact list of just some of the sit-down restaurants, gastro-pubs and takeaway foods including Indian, Chinese, Pizza and, of course, locally caught fish and chips!

You are spoiled for choice of beaches!  Pembrokeshire has the greatest concentration of certified 'Blue Flag' beaches anywhere in the British Isles, each with its own character, features and facilities.  There are so many fabulous beaches within easy reach of both Catamouse Cottage and The Elms, to help you find the perfect ones for you and your family we've compiled a representative guide to a dozen locations. . .  although there are many more to discover!

Discover the wildlife of natural Pembrokeshire  The Pembrokeshire Coast is a largely unspoiled natural gem and provides a home to many native species that have disappeared from other parts of the UK.  Rare birds, including many birds of prey, hunt along our wildflower laden hedgerows, Grey Seals come ashore here to birth and Dolphins play amongst the waves!  Skomer Island is a nesting site for 'Fratercula Arctica', better known as Atlantic Puffins (or 'sea parrots'), take a boat trip around the island. . .  or spend a whole day ashore on Skomer amongst these endearing creatures!

More active and adventurous?  Whilst walking all or parts of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is hugely popular, with over 100 miles of coastline within 45 minutes drive, watersports (with tuition and equipment hire) also abound.  Enjoy snorkelling, paddleboarding, surfing & kayaking. . .  or try your daredevil hand at 'coasteering'!  Whatever your skill or experience level, there is always fun to be had in our crystal clear and temperate Atlantic waters.

Happy children make for a happy holiday!  Fortunately, there are hundreds of activities and attractions in this part of Pembrokeshire to ensure that they never become bored. . .  from a petting zoo, water parks and fun fairs, to the hunt for Dobby's grave (made world famous in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows').

Tire them out, put them to bed, and an evening in the hot tub is all yours!

What's happening. . .  where and when!  Pembrokeshire has long been a magnet for musicians and creative types!  There are events, festivals and shows throughout the year. . .  plus a first class theatre in Milford Haven, and live music performances in far too many small venues to list, even in the winter months.

Relax. . .  you are on holiday after all!  The pace of life here in Pembrokeshire could best be described as leisurely.  Things just happen more slowly, our roads are narrow so don't be in a rush to get anywhere.  Take your time, and at the end of a busy day enjoying everything that Pembrokeshire has to offer, unwind and chill in front of a log fire with a glass of wine, or luxuriate in your private steaming hot tub!
